H&M needs to step up their game

After using Forever 21′s e-commerce site to buy maxi dresses last week - free shipping on purchases over $60 and my package came in 3 days – I realized it is not only disappointing, but quite ridiculous that H&M doesn’t offer the same.

Last October, H&M announced they would launch an e-commerce site at the end of 2011. So…. what happened?

H&M is my go-to store for fast fashion items. As much as I love their clothes, I don’t enjoy shopping there when the store gets chaotic and disorganized – which is quite often.

For example, they launched their Pre-Summer Conscious Collection on April 12th and, as expected, I have yet to find my size in most of the items I was planning to buy. If I could purchase these items online, it would save me the hassle of going on a scavenger hunt at various H&M stores.

In the 21st century, is it too much to ask for the convenient option of shopping online? Especially from a store like H&M, as they are considered to be a fashion leader.

Anyways, this fabulous collection was shot by one of my favourite photographers, Terry Richardson. Here are some of my favourite looks:

Always chic,

L.

  1. In sorry to here you are so frustrated with the stores and that you can’t buy online yet. I’ll give you a little inside tip that may help! I currently work at an H&M as a visual and can tell everyone that the website is launching this fall!! I think the reason they pushed back the launch was because they were trying to offer the US more. I couldn’t tell you why they didn’t launch a site when try first brought H&M over here, but I can tell you to stay patient because when the site does launch it is going to change everything! As for shopping in the stores. Our campaigns launch on Thursdays when the stores open every 2-3weeks. So to get the items you are looking for its best to be the first ones there that day as early as the stores open! Some stores don’t always caring the whole collection so of you are looking for the more fashionable pieces or you want the whole collection, it’s best to hit a city store in your area! We try to keep the stores under control as much as possible too, but when it comes to fashion our customers do know how to ravage through our stores! So just make sure to stay nice with my fellow workers they get just as frustrated with the mess as our customers that don’t make them!
