Oh heavens, it can’t be!
Kate Middleton…er, the Duchess of Cambridge, Princess Catherine- whichever is most proper- has repeated an outfit.
Kate wore a pink dress with a pleated skirt ten days ago to a reception for world royalty at Windsor Castle. Today she wore the same dress to the Queen’s annual garden party at Buckingham Palace.
I think this makes me admire her even more. Besides the fact that she’s a princess, wears awesome hats and equally amazing outfits, and is married to a hunky (albeit balding) prince who just happens to be the future king, Kate is just like us.
She recycles her clothing. She re-wears outfits just like us. We all have that outfit we look great in, and so we think, “Hey, I’m going to wear that again. And again.” To be honest, most of us say that about all of our outfits, because our wardrobes, big as they may be, don’t quite stand for only wearing something once. As for Kate, I’ll go out on a limb here and assume hers is quite capable of handling constant outfit replacement.
But the repeat wearing of this pink dress is a statement on Kate’s part- she had to know the press would be all over it. And she doesn’t care. Point for Kate!

I’m definitely a little in love with her hat.
